A Chosen Vessel

Walls painted black in a brightly lit room,

an old vessel sits prepared to hold what shall bloom

Only time will tell, they say it’s safe to assume.

Will this vessel bear the weight of what awaits?

Truth speaks in volume.

As the believer is the true bearer of the forthcoming news,

the burden of perfection is lifted, with the new cup that you choose

Pour out your failures and flaws… be redeemed and renewed.

Overjoyed, overwhelmed, probably over thinking.... but not quite over the hill. I am a mother of 3 amazing young men who are the reason I stay firmly planted in my faith. I love all things that grow, especially my friendships and I hope to be more than anyone ever expects me to be. I live wholly to indulge in the simple things. As for the daily delicacies that life let's me get a taste of; my perspective is... God makes all things good, so why not load up my plate.
